EVERYTHING IN MODERATION – TORONTO FRINGE 2011 – Featuring Christine Birch and Rhonda Baker

In Events on July 5, 2011 by danceumbrella

Two dancers. Two duets. Sixty minutes, blurring the line between the realities that exist and the ones we create.

They say ‘everything in moderation’, but what happens if we are already saturated?

Two miniature works (or worlds) of art, created on polar opposite scales.
One well rehearsed, one a structured improvisation. Both are the culmination of our over saturated existence. Do we ever really get anywhere or are we going to ‘fake it til we make it’ for the rest of our lives?

Baker and Birch dance till they drop – literally. This duo met on their first glorious day of professional dance training, and is now taking their real life friendship onto the Fringe Festival stage.

Warning: jarring and ballistic movement may occur.
