Multicultural Canada Day Celebration

The Community Folk Art Council of Toronto, a non-for-profit organization, is proud to present the 5th Annual Multicultural Canada Day Celebration at Yonge Dundas Square.

Opening Ceremonies 12pm – With singing of O’Canada, young award winning 14 yr old Toronto singing sensation, Jasmine Ragual, followed by First Nations dance and then many other international Dance Groups performing through till 9pm.

We will be showcasing many ethnically diverse dance groups that will present 30-minute ethnic folk dance performances on the main stage. The Community Folk Art Council, for some 40 years is the acknowledged leader in promoting the traditional arts in Toronto. The Main Stage performances start at 12:15pm with groups from Europe, Canada, South and Central America, Asia, and South East Asia.

This year we will be featuring a special BOLLYWOOD Dance Party starting at 7pm on the Square, come and learn how to Bollywood dance live!
