This workshop will help emerging youth artists to gain strategies for expanding their networks, increasing external communication and developing marketing/promotion plans. This session aims to support emerging artists and arts presenters to take their careers to the next level.

Business Plan and Financial Management

This workshop will help emerging youth artists, arts presenters and/or their management to gain knowledge of the requirements and skills needed to build a business plan. It will also provide artists with information and resources on how to budget and become familiar with financial management techniques. This workshop aims to help emerging youth artists, arts presenters and/or managers to build basic business and financial management skills.

Location for Both Sessions: Metro Hall, 55 John Street, Rooms 308 & 309

Directions: South-east corner of King and John, two blocks east of Spadina.  Take subway to St. Andrew station, then walk through the “PATH” to Metro Hall or walk above ground 2 blocks west.

RSVP: These workshops are open to youth (13 to 29 years of age).

Please RSVP for one or both sessions by March 21st at noon, with your name, organization/group (if any), email address and phone number toinfo@artreachtoronto.ca.  You will receive a confirmation email. Space is limited so register today!  Food and refreshments will be provided.

NOTE: You will receive a credit for attending each of these workshops. You may register for one or both of these workshops in the same email.

These workshops are part of the larger GOAL (Grassroots Organizing and Leadership) Youth Workshop Series being organized by a working group made up of youth organizations and funders.
