Nixon In China

The Canadian Opera Company is looking for male and female dancers for its production of the opera Nixon In China, by John Adams.

Choreographer Sean Curran is looking for accomplished dancers with a contemporary/modern background with strong ballet technique and some acting skills. Partnering skills are a plus and experience in martial arts is helpful.

The individuals cast in this production will be engaged on an Equity contract under the terms of the Canadian Opera Agreement.
Equity members will be seen before non-members.

Rehearsals begin: January 3, 2011
Performance dates: February 5, 9, 11, 13, 19, 22, 24, 26, 2011

Date: Men: Thursday, December 2, 2010 — Women: Friday, December 3, 2010
Audition Times: Individuals selected to audition will be contacted with their audition time slot. Auditions will fall between the hours of 10:00am – 5:00pm
