The Mentorship Program

The “Cadence Mentorship Program” is designed to feed directly into the company by offering pre-professional dancers an opportunity to study and be a part of the creation.

Cadence Artistic Director, Courtnae Bowman believes in giving developing artists an environment that nurtures their creativity, autonomy and gives them the tools to refine their craft. The mentorship program brings internationally renowned guest teachers who are at the top of their field. Classes are focused on pursuing a career contemporary ballet and include, contemporary, ballet, repertoire, Pilates, yoga and improv.

Gioconda Barbuto, Mercedes Bernardez, Josh Beamish (“MOVE The Company”), Shavar “Caution” Blackwood (So You Think You Can Dance Canada), Valerie Calam (Toronto Dance Theatre), Zhenya Cerneacov, Sarah Doucet, Patrizia Gianforcaro, Robert Brentt Halley, Allen and Karen Kaeja (Kaeja d’Dance), Hanna Kiel, Robert Kingsbury, Sharon Moore, Simone Orlando (Ballet B.C), Avinoam Silverman (NBOC), Donald Sales (Ballet B.C), Angel Spendlove (Ballet Jorgen Canada), Debbie Wilson (OMO) and Johnny A. Wright (The Royal Winnipeg Ballet).

Tuition

Due to this flexibility in scheduling and involvement there are many different tuition options available along with scholarships and work exchange.

6 week Full Fall Mentordship: $750*

Due on First Day: Non-refundable deposit of 50% of tuition.

Due two weeks later: Remainder of fees.

*receive $50 off tuition when paid in full

The Sunday Intensive Program

Individual or four week intensive sessions for dancers looking to supplement their training with weekend classes.

The day begins alternately with Body Conditioning and Technical Coaching, leads into an open style class in the contemporary genre and finishes with a progressive contemporary ballet class which fuses the grounded depth of modern, the power and fierce edge of jazz, while using the line and classical elegance of ballet and the tool of the pointe shoe.

Tuition

$40/Sunday or $100/session

S.I.P Students also recieve discounts on all weekday classes for the duration of their session
