Oyster and champagne fundraiser

Greetings to all my friends, lovers of oysters, champagne and supporters of the arts!

If you don’t already know me my name is Zeekid and I sit on the Board of the Little Pear Garden Collective (LPGC). LPGC is a fantastic dance troupe that works to promote traditional and contemporary Chinese dance. LPGC does this via the production and presentation of performances, lectures, workshops, demonstrations, symposiums and exhibitions on the local and national level.

LPGC is a not-for-profit organization staffed mainly by volunteers. This fundraising event is in support of their upcoming “Four Beauties in China” show in November.

Now on to the fun stuff.
Event details

Date: Saturday, August 14th, 2010
Time: 7pm to Midnight
Location: The Merchants of Green Coffee, 4 Matilda St, Toronto, ON (Queen St East and Don Valley Parkway)
Cost: $35
Capacity: 80ish people so be sure to pre-purchase your tickets!

What do you get for your $35? You get a dozen oysters, a glass of champagne and the company of a lot of great people. Come out and meet new people. Mix, mingle, learn more about LPGC and their upcoming performances.

There will be a silent auction and perhaps even a live jazz band.

About the space: The Merchant of Green Coffee is my favourite coffee shop. It has a loft feel to it and it’s a fantastic place to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon. A lot of you have asked me where I purchase my coffee from and THIS is the place. A barista will be at the shop this evening and can make you a fantastic cup of coffee.

Please help out by forwarding this event page to all of your friends.

Unfortunately LPGC does not have a paypal account setup yet but I’ll be accepting money on their behalf. Please follow this link
and under “To” put my email address…

If you want to order more than one ticket just add that to the cost.

I hope to see all of you there!!

Zeekid Leung – Board of Directors member for The Little Pear
Garden Collective.
