Spontaneous Composition – Improv Ensemble Dance Classes

In Classes on July 23, 2010 by danceumbrella

Spontaneous Composition –A new class series by Suzanne Liska!

5 Tuesdays from 8 – 9:30pm
Oct 19 – Nov 16, 2010

We will create movement as a group in the moment, exploring physical, spatial, emotional, and rhythmical scores. Solos, duets, and trios will be framed within the ensemble.

Movement exercises will be taught to engage your imagination and draw on your body and mind as inspiration to dance. The exercises will awaken your spatial perception while deepening your connection with yourself in relation to others.

Classes are open to performers and non-performers.

Areas of Exploration:
Sensing self with others
Expanding awareness within structured scores
Presence in performance

Trinity St. Paul’s Gym, 427 Bloor St. W. (west of Spadina)

Before Oct 5:
CADA/AEA/Stu: $65/series
