* May 10, 17, 24, 31 (no class first Monday of May)

Join one of Canada’s most ACTIVE blues dancers, Randy Panté and his teaching partner Kathleen, for this progressive Introductory to Blues series. For those that do not know, Randy has been very active in the blues competition circuit this month with placements in two very big blues events:

This month long series will be great for new dancers who want to get into the Blues or for existing dancers who have never formally taken Blues lessons.

Blues dancing is a modern term used to describe a family of historical dances that developed alongside and danced to blues music. Popular with swing dancers from all over the world, it’s a form of slow dancing suited to blues, slow jazz, and early rhythm blues. There are blues dancing communities throughout the international swing dancing community reflecting local social and cultural values and contexts.

We’re happy to offer Blues as a specialty class in 2010.
