VOLUNTEER RADIO SHOW CO-HOST/TECH WANTED – Evi-Dance – CIUT 89.5fm

Evi-Dance, aired on CIUT 89.5fm, is looking for a VOLUNTEER CO-HOST/TECH. If you meet the requirements below — and would like to learn broadcasting skills and have the opportunity to network within the dance community — we’d love to hear from you.

Evi-Dance is a dance coverage radio show aired LIVE and hosted by local choreographers. It brings Toronto’s local dance performance scene to the world. And the national and international dance scenes to Toronto.

REQUIREMENTS

– available Sunday mornings 8:45 to 10:15 a.m.

– radio experience not necessary; Evi-Dance will train you

– willingness to learn radio soundboard tech and live on-air interviewing

– strong interest in dance performance and issues related to dance

– able to co-host and tech when needed

CIUT 89.5fm is located in Hart House at the University of Toronto downtown campus

Evi-Dance is a dance coverage radio show aired LIVE and hosted by local choreographers. It brings Toronto’s local dance performance scene to the world. And the national and international dance scenes to Toronto.

REQUIREMENTS

– business and organizational skills

– co-host and tech when needed

– assist in booking guests/programming

– website maintenance and updating

– computer skills

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – O.I.P. Dance Center

Location: O.I.P Dance Center, 190 Richmond St. East, Toronto, ON

OIP Dance Centre is looking for energetic and motivated volunteers for a street team! Discounts and potential FREE CLASSES offered in exchange for your services!

Continuing volunteer opportunity

A Continuing Volunteer is a volunteer with an interest in making a regular contribution of time and skills to the organization. This volunteer will have an ongoing relationship with AHCF staff and will volunteer on a regular basis for approximately 2-3 hours per week for an indefinite or defined period of time. Continuing volunteers are selected on the basis of their availability and skill set.

AHCF Administrative Assistant

Commitment: Must be able to commit to at least 2 hours per week.

Dates: Shifts are flexible and will be scheduled around volunteer’s availability.

Times: Various shifts available on weekdays between 10:00am and 5:00pm

Location: The Artists’ Health Centre Foundation – 250 The Esplanade, Suite 500

Duties: Administrative tasks including:

• Scanning documents to create an electronic archive system

• Photocopying materials for seminars

• Developing and maintaining a spreadsheet tracking community partners and organizations who display AHCF brochures and information flyers

• Researching new outreach opportunities

• Helping with mail-outs and flyer distribution

Skills: Volunteers should have some previous office or administrative experience and an ability to work independently.
